I have had trouble all day trying to get to ancestry.com. My unit says
that there is no such site, and no matter how I try, it doesn't come up.
Any one else having trouble with it today?? Rootsweb.com doesn't even
link to it. So let me know guys, ok??
>>Also I have 2 sites worth checking out. One is tribalpages.com For
those of us with no computer skills, and me with webtv and most of the
genealogical software sites I can't use, Tribal pages, I can and it's
very easy. You can gedcom in, gedcom out, it has ancestral, descendent
and family trees, allows you to upload pics to the site and also has an
event calender that helps on knowing who has a birthday or anniversary
for any month you choose to look up. Give a looksee.
>>Also, I have a wonderful picture site, that again, is simple, and
webtv friendly. Webtv is just a glorified typewriter, no computer
skills on it nor required, but that also leaves so many sites
unavailable for me to use. But picturetrail.com is a great site,
uploads by computer or e-mail, gives you album choices, picture frames,
lets you describe the pics, and also you can make picture postcards to
send out also from your uploaded pics. If anyone wants to see my album
on like My Aunt Regina that the story on her discovery was in one of our
last newsletters, I can send you that to look at, if you aren't sure
what the site does or how the pics look after uploaded.
>>That's it for this post. If anyone wants to see what my tribal pages
looks like, e-mail me and I will give you my trial one that I used to
test the site myself with.
