They flipped it, and flopped it, and now it appears they have flipped again. Here is the good news on the latest amendment to SB1614.

SB 1614 was just amended to remove the requirement put
in while the bill was in appropriations that those who
post previously aquired data to the internet redact
the maiden name and SSN. The amendments just passed
also reduced the penalties for violating the law to a
misdemeanor. It also allows access for medial
research in some situations.
The bill will now have to come back to the Assembly
Floor tomorrow to be voted on.
