Energizing Your Society, A Workshop of Networking and Brainstorming
This event is sponsored by the Genealogical and Historical Council of
Sacramento Valley. The workshop will cover twelve different discussion topics
with the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with those from other
area societies. It will be held at the Sacramento LDS Family History Center,
2745 Eastern Avenue, Sacramento, CA from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Bring a sack
lunch or plan to go out.
Your ROOT CELLAR Society has paid our society fee to participate in this
full day workshop so there is no cost to our members to attend this event.
All ROOT CELLAR members are encouraged to join in this opportunity to share
ideas and learn new ways to maintain and improve our society. We may have as
many members attend as would like. A master syllabus will be sent to each
society which is responsible for making copies for their attendees. If you
plan to attend you need to contact Valerie Hawkins at 992-8492 or
, Sammie Hudgens at 481-4930 or , or Billie
Helms at 991-5971 or so that we can prepare a syllabus for
you which you will receive the morning of the event.

ROOT CELLAR LIBRARY
Our library is now open on the first Saturday of each month, 10am-4pm. It
is located on the 4th floor of the California State Archives Building at 1020
O' Street, Sacramento, California. Light Rail stops at the front door and on
Saturday after 10am you can park in the parking lot directly across from the
Archives Building at no cost. You will need to go down an alley to get to
the parking lot entrance.
