PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 5, 2008
GENEALOGY SOCIETY DAY STUDY GROUP TO MEET
The Placer County Genealogy Society (PCGS) will hold its regular monthly Day Study Group Workshop, on Monday, June 9th. The Society sponsors this study session on the second Monday of each month (except December) from 10AM to Noon, in the Placer County Library's Beecher Room, 350 Nevada Street, Auburn.
This month's program will be led by Barbara Leak. Her subject will be "Research in New England." They are six little states with a big difference. The group will explore the records and resources that make New England research unique and distinct from the rest of the country. The focus will be on sources for Colonial and early American New Englanders. There is no cost to attend and visitors are always welcome.
The study group does not meet in July and August.
For more information on this Study Group, the Society's Family TreeMaker User Group and its regular meeting activity, see the Society's Web page at www.pcgs.pcgenes.com or call toll free at 1-866-894-2076
