Having the microfilm in the Periodical Room instead of Bancroft is a
treat...but the next time you visit, be sure to walk down the hall to visit
the Bancroft Library.
It is a research library so you can't just stroll in, but once you get
registered as a researcher you'll find a wealth of California history and
sources. The neat thing is that you can do your card catalogue browsing on
Melvyl before you ever arrive!
