Hello,

I'm hoping someone might be able to look up further particulars from the Death Certificate of the following person:

Benjamin Franklin Varney, DOB 8/7/1867, CA; DOD 4/25/1941, Alameda County; Mother-NOBLE


I have a 1 yr old George W. Varney who died in 1871 and was buried in one of our county's cemeteries. I'm trying to locate any possible descendants of this family. The parents of George were William and Ellen Varney. At the time of his death the family was living at Fairplay, El Dorado County.

We are trying to determine if George was the only member of the family buried at this cemetery or if there are others who may be buried in unmarked graves.

Any assistance in trying to identify if Benjamin Franklin Varney's parents were William and Ellen would be greatly appreciated. I don't need a copy of the certificate, just confirmation that I'm on the right track.
