Found out that Helen MAHER died Jan 7 1978, San Francisco. Her middle name
was Regina.

Jerome/Jeremiah MAHER, born 1847-48 Ireland, moved from Chicago to the
Oakland area about 1890. He married Annie E. MATHEWS, daughter of Peter
MATHEWS. Annie was born 1861 in Golden Gate (Oakland), California.

Jeremiah and Annie had 5 children:

Elizabeth MAHER, born March 23, 1891, CA

Mary Irene MAHER, born May 29, 1893, CA

Helen MAHER, born March 11, 1895, CA

Edward T. MAHER, born Sept 11, 1896, CA

(I do not know what happened to these 4.)

Charles Wilfred MAHER, born Oct 21 1899 in CA. Married Hazel WHITE. Hazel
died March 19 1957 in Alameda. Charles died in Alameda July 28, 1982. They
had a son, Jerry Richard MAHER born 2 Jan 1933 and possibly a daughter
Elizabeth born Aug 26 1927. Jerry married and had children. I found one but
she may still be living, so I won't post her info. I tried to contact her,
but her email and phone are no longer valid. I have the name of Jerry's
first
wife, but she may still be living too, so I won't post her info either. She
could have remarried and I have not tried to track her down. Jerry died 25
Jul 1997 San Francisco Co. His residence was Novato, Marin, CA. Jerry was
married to someone else at the time of his death -- Margaret Louise MAHER
who
died June 10, 1999 in Novato, Marin Co. They had been married for 21 years.


Jerome was in the Alameda Co Medical Association/Society, the State of CA
AMA, Prof at Oakland College and dr at Providence Hospital. He also lived in
Piedmont for a time. 1930 time period.

Annie E. MAHER died Nov. 25, 1932 in Alameda.

Jerome died June 14, 1937 in Los Angeles. I do not know where he is buried.
He was a patient at Queen of Angels Hospital from 1935 until he died
apparently. I got this from the AMA records at the National Genealogical
Society. Jeremiah's mother, was a sister of my gg grandfather. I have more
info on Jeremiah's family in Ireland and elsewhere if this sounds familiar
to anyone. It's Jeremiah (after he immigrated) and his descendents that I am
seeking info on.

Charles, Edward and Elizabeth are family names btw.
