Mary Elma Bryan
Mary Elma Bryan died in Sacramento Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, at age 80.
Born March 9, 1922, in Oakland, Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late Elmer and Vera Harris. She was raised in the Bay Area, moving to Woodland in 1963 with her family. She married Raymond A. Bryan on July 3, 1951. She worked for Holverstott Electric in Woodland and then moved to Sacramento to work for Ray Stone Inc. for more than 20 years. According to her family members, "she enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband and friends, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Eddie Garcia of Woodland, Susan and Larry Scarborough of Sacramento, Nancy Guerrero of Anchorage, Alaska, and Ruben Guerrero of Woodland; granddaughters and spouses, Tina and Jeff Gottlieb of Modesto, Tasia and Scott Ellison of Woodland, Angelina and Chris McMichael of Anchorage, Alaska, Heather and Eric McComkey of New Mexico, and Shawn Scarborough of Sacramento; and great-grandchildren, Abby, Katy, RaeAnna and Erika Gottlieb, James and Tyler Ellison, Destinee McMichael and Gareth McComkey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Bryan; sister, Jean; and brother, Robert.
Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Bryan no services were scheduled.
North Sacramento Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
