Yes I actually found out yesterday about it. My mom who retired from Alameda Hospital confirmed what someone had emailed me, Providence was combined into Summit - Alta Bates. It used to be Sisters of the Providence or something like that, a Catholic Hospital my mom said. I guess nothing can be easy when searching our roots huh :D
