I've been working on the index a little over a year now. I am happy to say
that the Portuguese to Hawaii Passport Index project is nearly finished! It
will still take some time to complete the last part, Ponta Delgada (divided
into 4 different localities), as it is the largest.

The latest addition to the index is Matriz, Vila Franca. You can access that
index at:

Note to researchers: If you can't find someone in one index, check to see if
there are others for the same town. For instance, for Vila Franca there is
"Vila Franca", "Matriz, Villa Franca", "Sao Pedro, Vila Franca", and "Vila
Franca da Xira, Portugal". I've tried to stick as closely to the town names
as seen in the book.
