To tell you the truth, I am not sure if it is a social or fraternal, but you can check out their web sites http://www.nsgw.org/index.html http://www.ndgw.org not sure if the daughters is working right now or not.
As to the Grizzly Bear, it stated in May 1907 and when to May of 1954.
