If you live or are going to be in the Oakland, area on a weekend during July and Aug. you might want to check out the walk tours that Oakland Heritage Alliance, will be doing this summer.

one of their most popular one is the tour of Mt. View Cemetery, a new one this year will be a tour of Piedmont Avenue, with one of the highlights is the Piedmont Market.
