Edward L. was noted as living in Oakland, CA in his fathers obit dated 4/11/1966.

In Santa Rosa, December 23,1980, Edward L. Byrnes, dear husband of Anna Byrnes, dear step-father of Francise Fiorentino of Danville, Marian Hamilton of Pleasant Hill, Margaret Ceresa and Roberta Hamilton, both of San Jose and John Cantwell of Oakland, loving sister of Adeline Crowley of Minnesota, loving grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 3. Also survived by 1 niece. A native of Iowa, age 86 years. Friends may pay their respects at Eggen and Lance Mortuary and are invilted to attend Catholic blessing Service on Mon. Dec 29, 1980 at 2:30 pm at Eggen and Lance Mortuary. Private interment, Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, 811 College Ave., Santa Rosa, CA. 95404

Services for Edward L. Byrnes, 86, will be at 2:30 pm Monday at Eggen and Lance Mortuary. Byrnes died Tuesday in a Santa Rosa convalescent hospital after a long illness. An Io;wa native, he moved here eight years ago FROM OAKLAND WHERE HE OWNED A SPORTING GOODS STORE. He is survived by his wife, Anna Byrnes; step-children, Francise Fiorentino, Danville, Marian Hamilton, Pleasant Hill, Margaret Ceresa and Roberta Hamilton, both of San Jose, and John Cantwell, Oakland; sister, Adeline Crowley, Minnesota; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
