Steve,

No, I don't live in Amador County. I live in Reno, Nevada. However, at my
aunt's death, the family "ranch" came in to my brother's and my possession.
My mom was also born in Jackson on Stacil Avenue, up near the graveyard. I
have always felt that Jackson was my home. I feel tied to the land there in
almost a tangible fashion. I know that sounds melodramatic, but then, I am
Italian!

I am aware of the Italian Benevolent Society, but know almost nothing about
it.

Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with all of the names you were asking
about...now if you ask about Perano or Raggio Digitale or Cuneo or
Buscaglia...
