CHARLES VICINI, ATTORNEY FOR U.S. BOARD, DIES
Ex-Superior Judge Succumbs to Heart Attack at Home; Funeral Service Tomarrow.
Charles P. Vicini, attorney for the Federal Trade Commission and former
Superior Court Judge in Amador County, died suddenly of a heart attack early
yesterday in his home here, 1090 Eddy Street. He was 73 years.
ELECTED JUDGE.
Born in Angels Camp, Mr. Vicini grew up in Sutter County. He was district
attorney of Amador County for several years. In 1930 he was elected Superior
judge and remained on the bench for twelve years.
Mr. Vicini became attorney for the Federal Trade Commission in 1934 and
lived in San Francisco from that time until his death. He was a member of the
Native Sons and Knights Templars.
2 CHILDREN SURVIVE
He is survived by his wife Frances and two children, a son Hoit of Santa
Monica and daughter Margaret Hubbs of Menlo Park. Funeral services will be
held in Sutter Creek tomarrow.
