You can add the name GINOCHIO to citizens from Chiavari, Genoa, Italy.
They arrived in New York and stayed in the city at least from 1853 -
1856. Their son, my great grandfather, was born in S.F. December 1857
just after arriving there from New York. They went in Amador Co in
1859, where I found a sales record of a piece of land he sold to a black
man.

One of his grandsons married a Cuneo. Not much research on them, but
had know her when I was a child in S.F.
