Deaths
At Amador City, May 18th, Stefano Cavanero, a native of Italy, aged about 58
years.
[Deceased was buried from the Catholic Church at Sutter Creek Tuesday the
20th inst. He was unmarried and leaves two brothers, Louis and Antone,
together with their families, to mourn his loss. He was universally
respected and had a host of warm friends. The Rev Father Moloney in his
funeral oration, paid a high tribute to his many good qualities, and his
remains were followed to the cemetery by a large concourse of mourning
friends. May the green sod press lightly on the breast of Steve Cavanera]

anything in the issue about the actual mining accident. Mis-spellings are as
