This person (Jason D. Hughes) was brother to my gg-grandfather. Does anyone have any
additional information on this? Since he was 28, it's likely he was married - was
there any article in the Dispatch about this mining accident prior to March 19, 1881?

"J.D. Hughes, who was caved on and killed while at work in the old Grigg's claim some
two weeks ago, was a native of Missouri, and son of Wash Hughes. He was 28 years of
age."
