Devine, a native of California, aged 2 years and 27 days.

DIED.Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Jelitich and their two infant children were
burned beyond recognition when their house burned to the ground about one
o'clock Wednesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Jelitich were natives of Austria.

MARRIED.Near Sutter Creek, Oct. 27, 1881, by Rev. E.E. Dodge, Mr.
Samuel G. Morrow to Mrs. Jane Ehrny.
DIED.Moses Payne, a mill feeder at the Potosi mine, near Drytown, was
almost instantly killed last Sunday, by being caught in some of the
machinery of the mill near the camshaft, ..
Constantino Botto, a prominent Italian of this place, died at his
residence on Sutter Hill on Wednesday morning. He was sick for several
years with consumption.
