Hi: In the last few weeks, I remember reading info re W.E. Herbert, Katie
Herbert & other Herberts.

I since, have met an elderly lady who is related to this family-including a
Herbert who bought & ran the Hicksville Hotel (or Inn) in the town of
Hicksville which was a stagestop town on the Monterey Trail (Hwy 99) between
Galt & Elk Grove.

Would appreciate any news on the Herbert's as I'm meeting with the above
lady on Saturday & she'd love to have this information. I hope to get
additional info from her & promise to put it on this website. Carolyn
