Please help!! I have been searching for my 3rd great grandmother
for 25 years now and have nothing to go on, It states that she was born
in Iowa July 1 1842 and died March 17th 1869. I thought that she
died in Franklin California, but have not been able to find a death
Cert., for her in Calif. I did find her name in a pioneer section of
Sacramento, and all it said was her name and that she was 24, and Iowa
after that., if her birth date is correct she would have been 27 years
old, so something is wrong there, maybe she was born in 1866. Her
mothers name was Delilah Dye-Bloom and her father was William
Henry Harrison Bloom. Hettie and Joseph had three children,
that were all adopted my Bloom sisters in California, near the
Courtland Delta area, 23 miles south of Sacramento. Their daughter
Sarah Elizabeth Morrow, adopted name was Sadie E. Runyon and she
married Charles Rippon. So I wondering if she died in Iowa and he
brought all the children to California to be raised by family. Sadie
was adopted by Solomon & Adeline Runyon in 1869. Any help would be
great. Thank You
