Leonard Rice

Funeral services were held yesterday for Leonard C. Rice, 85, of 119 Brown Street who died Wednesday in a Santa Rosa rest home after a long illness.

A native of Ione, Mr. Rice lived in California all of his life and in Santa Rosa since 1952. He was a retired chef.

He is survived by his sons, Clinton Rice, Coos Bay, Oregon; and Rex Rice, Downey, (CA) his daughters Mrs. Carlene Gill and Mrs. Bonita Johnson, both of Kent, Washington; Mrs. Jeanne Caravelli, Nevada City (CA) and Mrs. Lila Robinson, Pacifica.

The services were held at the Eggen & Lance Mortuary. Inurnment was at the Chapel of the Chimes.
