Dear Terri:
Will check the record books that I have tomorrow for
you.
First Axiom: Follow the distaff line, for the blood runs
through us.
Second Axiom: Only the ladies knew for certain, and
sometimes they were not too sure.

Subject: [CABUTTE] Butte County Relatives
I have just received a story from my Aunt that some members of the
JOHNSON family were in BUTTE County in the early days. Could you
do a lookup in the Great register and/or the county census for a William
Johnson -- a photographer, his brother, Joseph -- possible a sheriff
and another brother Harry?
Time frame = 1870s to 1940s?
I know that this is rather vague but any help would appreciated.
