Dear Listers:
You are happily invited to view the Butte County's
Clear Creek Cemetery History site which has been
awhile in the making.

The main collection of materials was Mildred Sciligo's
work over the years. I found her letters written in 1968
to my folks in the files from my mom's estate. A distant
cousin, Mildred was able to give me specific information
about that side of the family. She is the only one left of the
early days of the CCC Association who could tell us what
went on. Her contribution has been enormous. My son
Donald also needs a "thank you" for constructing the site
from Mildred's photos for us. (Unfortunately, Mildred is
not Online, but there is a telephone number.)
Perhaps you might find a relative or two there on the
hillside. It is a restful place, one reminiscent of the
early days of the Pioneers. If you do plan to visit, take
a lunch and sit on one of the benches. Go and enjoy
a peaceful stay, back in the foothills of Old California.
Enjoy,
Dona Morgan Kerns
