Father of Mrs. Childs Dies

Jac. Jager, aged 73, father of Mrs. J. W. Childs of Oroville, died in an
Oroville hospital at 8:15 a. m. today after a brief illness.

He was a native of Dtroit, Mich., and camre to Oroville 7 years ago. He
made his home her with Dr. Childs, now a chief specialist in the U. S.
coast guard, and Mrs. Childs.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Childs and Mrs. H. R. Carlson of Oakland;
two sons, John J. Jager of El Paso, Tex., and George C. Jager of New York;
a brother, John Jager of Hackettstown, N. J., a sister Mrs. Katherine Campbell
of Grand Rapids, Mich., and five grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of Hamilton & Riley's.
