Both William L., and brother David K. Perkins and David's wife Mary Sparks
are buried at the "Old Oroville" Cemetery, Oroville California.

David King Perkins, born 11 May 1843, died 14 Nov 1893 has a cross and
anchor, US Navy service during the civil war. His marker is further
inscribed, "Father, U.S.N., Rock of Ages". He is buried at Sec B, Row 9 Lot
2 grave #1.

Mary Melvina (Sparks) Perkins was born 24 Mar 1853 d. 30 Apr 1897 "wife of
D.K. Perkins", buried Sec B, Row 9 Lot 2.

Wm. L. Perkins, d. 19 Apr 1890 "Aged 49 yrs 11 mo's 20 das/Native of Maine"
and is buried at Sec B Row 7 Lot 1. No listing for a Mattie Perkins, sorry.

All three names are transcribed in the book "Old Oroville Cemetery" at page
256. This work was published by the Paradise Genealogical Society (PO Box
460, Paradise, CA 95967) in 1992. Further information may be available via
the Oroville Cemetery District (who maintain the files, and are caretakers of
