I looking for further information on the following family found in the 1870 Calaveras County Census:

Anderson, AR, age 30, b. Tennesee

Anderson, MC, age 33, b. Missouri --- Mary Cartherine Mitchell - first married Sept 1858 to James J Prather in San Joaquin County, James died the same day their son James was born in Nov. 1859.

Prather, JA, age 11 --- CA Death Index has James J Prather, b 11/24/1859, d. 1/29/1943 - Butte County

Anderson, AR, age 8 ---CA Death Index has Aaron R. Anderson, b 12/17/1863, d. 5/2/1951 - Butte County

Anderson, DH, age 6, male
Anderson, JW, age 4, male
Anderson, AC, age 2, male
Mitchell, M, age 11, F

Would especially like more information on Mary Mitchell Prather Anderson, she is my gg grandmother.

Bio of James Prather, says the family moved for awhile to Surprise Valley and then returned to San Joaquin County---I've never been able to find them in San Joaquin county, was happy to finally find them in Calaveras.

Land record index shows AR Anderson purchasing land in Calaveras county in 1872 with military script.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
