things are happening. We have gotten funding for Alameda County from the
Livermore - Amador Genealogical Society and they will be helping with
transcription although we will be working on it as well. We have also
gotten the balance of our funding for San Francisco County from a very
generous man in Australia. Also appears as we may be able to trade some
info on San Francisco with another genealogical society who has done some
we haven't and vice versa. Things are jumpin'.

scheduled to go online as soon as proofing, etc gets done. We have had some
questions about Sacramento County getting online, which is in the near
future, but we are at the funding stage there and would like to get some of
those pending online. We have about a dozen counties where the records are
ordered and over 20 counties with over 30 volumes being transcribed right
now. We want to get some of those done before we get another big county
going (I can't find room for more files on my desk at the moment). Santa
Cruz County has been funded as well and other donations toward some of the
other counties which are building up their totals to cover costs. All of
you have been wonderful with your donations to keep this ball rolling.

well. Del Norte County is going out to start transcription too. And, we
will be finishing up some of the other batches that have been in
transcription for awhile. To put it nicely, we are working on completing

are all really wonderful and very giving and helpful people out there. All
the support is incredible and the "Found" stories keep rolling in.

We will keep you updated as new areas are placed on the web. Please note
that weekly, the site is updated by Steve (my hero and our computer guru)
to keep you informed on the latest completed files as well as the status of
all the areas we currently have "under constructions". And to keep our hero
happy is our heroine, Laura who keeps all our transcribers "technically" up
to snuff. A special thanks to all of you.
