>
>There has been LOTS of interest in the San Francisco records that we have.
As we said previously, we have in excess of 200,000 death records for the
period of 1865-1905 that we are transcribing and putting online. We have
just started with these and they are definitely a gold mine of information.
Unfortunately, as with all counties, we cannot do lookups on the records
while they are in the transcription phase as the records are spread all
over the US in transcriptiion. We are working as fast as we can to get all
the records online and we are very aware of the demand. Please be patient.
>
>Thank you to all that have been helping with the project. This is really
going much faster than I ever dreamed of. I recently received an email from
a group in Louisiana who have been working for years on their records to
get them online. They were impressed with our progress considering the time
since we started (2 months ago). We could not do it without all the
volunteers, donors, and the support that we have been getting from all.
Thanks to all of your....
