Jon, I have been searching for Eli Brewen who left Missouri and is listed in the Pacific Coast Directory as being a blacksmith in Contra Costa County in 1867. I was told by a family member that he had gone to California before the Civil War and was not heard from again. Is Annie related to Eli? I look forward to hearing from you.
