I am hoping someone can help me...

I have an Aunt who remembers a man being shot and possibly murdered in her house in El Sobrante when she was a small child. Because she was so young, she doesn't remember the exact date but we have pinned it down to
1950 to 1952.

I am hoping someone with the know-how could find a newspaper article about this incident which would provide us with names and a date. We could then possibly pursue getting court documents regarding this case.

The only names I have are of family members who lived in the home at the time. These family members are long deceased, otherwise I would ask them about it.

Bertha Wright and Leonard Wright

My Aunt seems to remember the man shot was a stable hand who worked with their horses.

Any help is much appreciated. Please email me if you come up with anything or have any more questions.
