Hi List,
I recently found notation online of a Mrs. (no initial no first name) GREER being buried in Alhambra cemetery in Martinez.I am relatively positive that she is my ggg grandmother Matilda Jane (nee BLAIR) GREER who was married to Jerome Bonaparte GREER who may also be buried there. The dates and age work for her vitals so I tend to believe this is Matilda. I have never been in the cemetery although I have driven by several years ago. There was a sign saying to contact the police department. I did just that today and they had no clue what I was talking about. Who do you contact to gain entrance ? Does anyone know of a plot map for the cemetery? As memory serves that is a pretty big cemetery to be walking if you have no idea exactly where the burial is. Are there any kind of burial records housed somewhere that might help? Thanks for any direction.
