Cagle Cousins,

It means a great deal to all of us who had the honor of serving our
country, and those who would have if needed.

I had a close Norris 1st cousin killed in the South Pacific theater in
1944. I attempted to enlist then, but being only 13, I couldn't lie well
enough.

I did make it in 1947, shortly after turning 15. ( I was big for my age
and wore a size 13 shoe) <g>

The Forgotten War broke out in Korea during my second enlistment.

I wanted to re-up for Nam, but again couldn't lie past my age barrier, and
medical disabilities.

I'm very proud to have worn our countries uniform
God Bless all who did, and those who would have if needed.

Doyle
