Subject: Please identify these Cagles!
Date: Tue, 18 Jul 2000 22:01:25 EDT
Hi All, Cagle is not a very common name in my area. They're generally all
in my direct family tree. So when I come across one that I don't know, it
feels like I must have found something that had been lost. Whoever they
belong to, their family would probably never think to look here. I've found
three items. Please claim if they are yours. One is a casket permit number
61 purchased for W. W. Cagle, Sept. 17, 1923 from Yancey Brothers,
(Jonesville, Catahoula Parish, LA). The other two items are 1934-1935 school
records from Harrisonburg, Catahoula Parish, LA. Two daughters of L. E.
Cagle: Myrtis 3rd grade and Murel 2nd grade. Murel's record says that her
birth was July 8, 1927 in Wesson, Mississippi. It also states that she did
not return the following year. Please identify if you can. Thanks, Sharon
