I am a HENSEL descendant and researching one of the branches that went
to Northern California. I believe that ROBERT HENSEL (b. abt. 1860) may
have been the first of this branch to go to Humboldt County. According
to the index on-line, there is a Robert HENSEL listed on page 41 of LIVING
WITH THE GIANTS (Index) HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CALIFORNIA By EVELYN McCORMICK
1984. Does anyone have this book?

His nephew Robert Lyman Hensel and wife Blanche (Mowery) HENSEL had a child
in Humboldt County in 1936 (William, deceased in 1999).

I have lots of information on the ancestors of these CA HENSEL's and would
like to share what I have and find out more.
