I am sure that this is her, mainly b/c of the spelling.

Thank you so very much! Did you know her?

I was supposed to be with her that night--my daughter attended the preschool (can't remember the name of the school anymore--it shared a building with a religious organization--zoobud, or something along the lines of that) in Arcata bottoms where she worked, and she and I were becoming friends. She was just getting ready to move, had all of her things packed up, and went to show a freind her new car (details a little fuzzy 20 years later!). She'd invited me to go with her that night, but I declined. She was standing between 2 cars and a drunk came along and hit the rear car, killing her instantly.
