They were married 02-18-1911. They went to Kern Co between 1917 and 1918,
where there daughter, Margaret Llewellyn GRUBBS was born 11-15-1918. Louis
Allen GRUBBS worked for Southern Pacific as a dispatcher. After Pearl passed
he married Anna WRIGHT on 06-03-1920. I am specifically looking for the

Julie,
Haven't I already done this lookup for you earlier this year? I searched
and found the birth certificate for Margaret Grubbs. I also searched the
deaths in Kern Co. for Pearl and she wasn't listed here at all. I had checked
under both the surnames of Grubbs and Holman. She didn't die in Kern County.
May I suggest that you post a request on the CA-Death-Index list for a
pre-1940 CADI search? Currently there is only one volunteer in Calif. that
checks that index and so you'll get to practice patience. :) When you find
the county where Pearl died, then a death certificate can be ordered or
perhaps a volunteer can get a transcription for you.
You can subscribe to the CA-Death-Index by sending an email to:

Put the word subscribe in the subject line and in the body of the
letter. If you want the digest version, then change the L in that address to
a D.
