Rites Held for Miss E. Morse

Funeral services for Miss Ellen Morse.41 of 528 Water Street,who died late
Wednesday in a local hospital,were held today at 2 p.m. in Payne & Son
chapel, with the Reveran Harry Smith officiating. Burial was in Bakersfield
Memorial Park.
Misses Pauline and Cora McKinzie sang duets at chapel services and the
P.Y.P.A. choir of the Pentecostal Church of God sang at graveside services.
Miss Morse, a native of Wynnewood Okla., and lived here for nine years during
which time she was an active member of the Pentecostal Church of God. She is
survived by her
mother. Mrs Eliza Morse, Bakersfield; her brothers, Curtis and Robert Morse,
Bakersfield; Werner Morse, Lincoln Calif. and Charles Morse, Corona her
sisters. Mrs Artie Morse and Mrs Edna Swank, both of Bakersfield; Mrs Angie
Beavers, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs Nettie Hall, Glendale, Ariz.
