Lamont Reporter, Wednesday, January 19, 1966

Williams, Ethel J. - Services were conducted today at 2 p.m. in the
Church of God in Lamont for Ethel J. Williams, 64, of 9704 Velma Ave.,
Lamont, who died Sunday at her home. Mrs. Williams, a native of Texas had
resided in the Lamont area 29 years. She was a member of the Church of God in
Lamont. the Reverend Joe M. Jones officiated and interment followed in Union
Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Claunch, Mrs.
Leona Rogers, and Mrs. Pearl Patton, all of Lamont; three sons, Leon of
Bakersfield, Owen of Long Beach and Sidney of Shawnee, Okla; one sister,
Della Raines of Okla.; two brothers, Arthur Boothe of Muskogee, Okla, and
Claude Boothe of Stigler, Okla.; 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
