Hildreth, Tom McFarland - Private services were held today for Tom M. Hildreth, 82, of 509 Jefferson Street, Bakersfield who died at his home Friday afternoon. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in San Luis Obispo, Wednesday. Mr. Hildreth was a native of Missouri. He was a resident of California over 57 years and a resident of Kern County for 50 years. Mr. Hildreth was in law enforcement for most of his life. He was with the Kern County District Attorney's Office for over 20 years until his retirement in the late fifties. He was a long time member of the Bakersfield Elks Club. The survivors include his widow Leona Hildreth of Bakersfield. The Flint-Flickenger Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
