LAULESS JONES PARKEY

Longtime Ridgecrest resident Lauless Jones Parkey died Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Beverly Health & Rehabilitation Center in Ridgecrest. She was 85.

A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. Interment will be at Floydada Cemetery in Floydada, Texas.

Mrs. Parkey was born March 12, 1916, in Crosby County, Texas. She was retired from employment as a licensed vocational nurse at Caprock Hospital in Texas. She was a member of Desert Primrose Rebekah Lodge No. 412.

Mrs. Parkey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Anthony V. and Pura Taylor of Ridgecrest; step-daughter Patsy Skrabanek of Dallas; and granddaughters Sanda Workman of Clovis and Celey Gaskill of Campbell.

Holland & Lyons Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

She is survived by her son, Anthony V. Taylor and wife Pura of Ridgecrest; stepdaughter, Patsy Skabanek of Dallas, and granddaughters, Sandra Workmon of Clovis and Celey Gaskill of Campbell.

Arrangements were provided by Holland & Lyons Mortuary.
