Carl Farmer - Funeral services for Carl Farmer, 76, will be conducted
Thursday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at Delano Mortuary chapel. Mr. Farmer died
Tuesday, May 29, at his home, 323 East Kern St., McFarland. He was born in
Arkansas on February 8, 1886, and had lived in the McFarland area since 1939.
Burial will be in the Delano-McFarland District cemetery. Survivors are his
widow, Ollie; four daughter, Mrs. Elsie Applegarth of Oklahoma, Mrs. Geneva
Yokum of McFarland, Mrs. Nona Campbell of Modesto and Mrs. Dollie Harolson of
Morro Bay; a son, Harold of Portland, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Mattie Carter of
Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
