Gil,
The eml extension is for email, just click on it and OE will open
them.
        There are two ways to read posts in OE.
The first way is to select the digest and hold the CONTROL (CTRL) key
and
hit F3, Maximise the window that opens and scroll through the posts at your
leisure.
        The second way is to select the digest and in the preview pane,
click on the paper clip and double click on the post you want.
