Marion "Paul" Sisemore
No funeral Services
No funeral or memorial services will be held per request. Paul was born on October 14, 1917, in Springdale, Ark. Passed away on December 23rd at the age of 79.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 59 years, Georgia. Son Paul and wife Jennifer of Bakersfield. Grandsons Paul and wife Terri. Great grandchildren Jeannette and Paul of Grover City. Grandson Austin and wife Laura of Texas. Surviving sister Ethel De Ruix of Springdale, Ark. Nephew Charles Sisemore and niece Wanda Stewart who were orphaned as young children and raised as his own upon the death of their father.
Mr. Sisemore was well known in the oilfield related industry. He worked for Brown Drilling and retired from Getty Oil after approximately 25 years. Working predominantly in the Middle East, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Sisemore was former co-owner of Bronco Cleaning Service, an oilfield maintenance firm until his retirement in 1994.
Paul and Georgia enjoyed traveling, and visited many countries in Europe and in the Middle East. An avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards until his recent illness.
Paul was a member of the First Methodist Church, Stockdale Hwy. Also a member of Kern Co. Shrine Club, Scottish Rite - 32nd degree.
A very caring, loving man of honor who "Never met a stranger." Paul will forever be cherished in our memories, as husband, father, grandpa, brother, pop, uncle and friend.
The family wishes to express our gratitude to Memorial Sub-Acute Care Unit. Dr. Dale Herriott, Dr. Alan Cartmell, and all staff for all care and kindness.
