DONALD F. STONER
Donald Fulton Stoner died October 4, 1999 at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. He was 75.
Born February 16, 1924 in Inavale, Neb. he had been a previous resident of Wash., and had been a resident of Ridgecrest for 35 years. He served in World War II in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945 and was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake in 1984.
Mr. Stoner is survived by his wife, Janet Evans of Ridgecrest; sons and daughters-in-law Chad and Stacey of Ridgecrest; Dan and Lisa of Lancaster; Neil and Amanda of Bothel, Wash., Marty and Ruth of Ridgecrest; Mark and Luanne of Las Vegas, Nev., son, Michael of Ridgecrest; sisters Myrl McCall of Redlands; Lora Buckmaster of Palm Desert; Lola Wolf of Corona Del Mar; Doris Edlredge of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren Matthew, Erin, Chris, Jackie, Zachary, Rachel, Kathy and Trey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Beulah; brothers Max, Dan, and Rex; and sister Verna.
Cremation arrangements were made through Holland & Lyons Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the City of Hope.
