Additional obituary from Daily Independent newspaper Ridgecrest CA Kern County December 24, 2002

ANNA MAE WEGLEY 1920-2002

Anna Mae Wegley died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002 while residing at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 82.

Born Feb. 1, 1920 in Wichita, Kan., Anna was Ridgecrest resident since 1944. She was a homemaker in life and a self-employed retiree. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd.

Anna Wegley is survived by her daughter Shirley Culp and her husband Jerry, brother Alfred Mchaffey and his wife Dorothy, granddaughter Anne Marie Bistany and her husband Jason of Bakersfield, granddaughter Janet Cesmat and her husband Darren of Littleton, Colo., four great grandchildren and a host of foster children and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, at 11 am at Ridgecrest Mortuary Chapel.

A private inurnment was held in the rose garden of the Desert Memorial Park. Cremation, arrangements and information was provided by the Ridgecrest Mortuary.
