Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 8, 1999 at 12:00 noon at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco for Demcy Snow, 80 of Sacramento, formerly of Bakersfield and Wasco. Interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.
Demcy Snow was born February 28, 1919 to G. W. and Maudy Snow in Fewell, OK. He was raised and attended schools in Oklahoma. He married Mildred "Micky" Fuller on November 28, 1942 in Hugo, OK. They moved to Wasco in April 1944. He was employed as a truck driver, car dealer, Richfield Oil Distributor, farmer and investor. He was last employed by Wasco Ready Mix before retirement.
Demcy is survived by his son, Alvie Joe Snow of Sacramento; brothers, Ernest Snow of Santa Clara, Marvin Snow of Paradise; sisters, Marjorie Bruce of Bakersfield, Juanita Morrison of Edmond, OK and Ruby Ogden of Placerville; and two grandchildren, Daniel Christopher and Kipp Allen Snow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Micky" Snow on September 2, 1991.
