HOLMQUIST, AGNES M. - Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 9 p.m. and Requiem Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. for Agnes M. Holmquist, 86, 2107 21st St., who died Feb. 10 in a Bakersfield hospital. The Rev. Msgr. Patrick A. Leddy will officiate and interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Mrs. Holmquist was a native of San Francisco and had lived in kern County for 50 years. She is survived by her son, Lt. Col. G. W. Holmquist, USAF, Ret., Paris, France; three grandchildren, Dustin Holmquist of Redwood City, Kristina E. Yankovsky of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Monet Holmquist of West Los Angeles. Casket bearers will be Jason McCullers, John Swett, Paul Taylor, timothy E. Sullivan, George Voll and Lloyd Fox, M. D. Payne & Sons Funeral Home.

AGNES HOLMQUIST RITES SCHEDULED WEDNESDAY
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday and requiem mass will be said at 9 a.m. Wednesday for Agnes Holmquist, 86, 2107 21st Street, who died Wednesday in a Bakersfield hospital.
Both services will be held in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Holmquist, the former Agnes Maloney, was the widow of the late George D. Holmquist, who was employed as a county financial expert until his death in 1953.
She was born in San Francisco, was educated by the Dominican Sisters and later at Stanford University, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority.
She is survived by a son, retired Lt. Col. George W. (Bill) Holmquist of Paris, France; a stepson, Tim Sullivan of Bakersfield; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Payne and Sons Funeral Home.
