BAKER, Dar - Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hopson Mortuary Chapel for Dar Baker, 84, of 31 MacArthur Place, who died Sunday in a Bakersfield convalescent hospital. The Rev. Pat Beeber of the Baptist Church will officiate and interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Mr. Baker was a native of Arkansas and had resided in California and Bakersfield for 22 years. He had worked as a farmer for 15 years and was last employed by W. B. Camp. Survivors include his widow Dollie; a son Alfred of Oildale; two daughter's Mary Jo Williams of Oklahoma and Clara Roper of Bakersfield; 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Doug Shinn, Danny Willis, Randy Keith McDonald, Verlan McDonald, Powell and Roy Lynch.
