ANNABELL M. CALHOUN 1928-2003
Trona resident Annabell M. Calhoun died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003 at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital. She was 75.
Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 7 pm at Holland & Lyons Chapel in Ridgecrest. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at 10 am at Searles Valley Cemetery in Trona. Pastor Bill Langston will officiate.
Calhoun was born May 19, 1928 in Santa Rosa. She was a homemaker and had lived in Trona and Homewood Canyon for 10 years. She attended True Love Church in Ridgecrest and was a member of the Trona Senior Citizens Club.
Calhoun was preceded in death by two daughters Rose Mary Garrett and Lilly M. Armor, two sons Timothy and Johnny Garrett, a brother Ernest Ritter and two sisters Florence Moneypenny and Mary Ellen Fields.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years Carl M. Calhoun of Homewood Canyon, daughter Deborah Addair of Sacramento, daughter Annabell May Betterton of Stockton, sons Kenneth Garrett of Argus, Clyde and his wife Debbie Garrett of Stockton, sisters Helen Ritter of Paradise, Louise Hall of Stockton and June Rule of Albany, Ore., 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
